Peace talk event in BARAKA (Sud-Kivu)
From April 22 - 26, GLPF partnered with the Mayor's office of Baraka to organize the conference and meetings in the region. All tribes in the area were invited along MONUSCO and Army officers.
Eastern Congo Crisis NOW!!!
We are publicly denouncing the violence and killings against the minority communities in Eastern Congo.
Outcomes and Results
After one year of conflict and war in the area, cohabitation and reconciliation are on the rise between the tribes in this region. GLPF planning to rebuild a 4 km road to reconnect these villages (Baraka and Bibogobogo).
